Well, after more than two years of hard graft, we're finally there. Careershifters went live in its first public (pilot) incarnation yesterday.
It's been a herculean task to get here, but it's also been a lot of fun. And now we're just at the beginning of a longer journey as we build the site into what we hope will become the largest, most comprehensive, most useful career change community on the web.
A big round of applause then for Selina, Neil and Mark for busting themselves over the last few months to get the final pieces in places, for the wider Careershifters team (Cath, Mel, Devi, Chris, Vai, Gabby) for all their input, faith and hard work over the past two years, to our founding coaches (Lisa, Satu, Holly) for their support and enthusiasm for the project, and to the numerous people who've lent a hand, given advice or just offered a few supportive words during the process. In true Oscar style, we've said a small few "thank you's" on our About Us page, where you can also read more about why we're here and where we're planning to go in the future.
Most importantly as we continue to build the site, we'd like your input. What do you think? What else would you like to see? What else can we do for you to help you make a positive shift in your career? Do let us know what you think - and otherwise, looking forward to having you as part of the journey with us.
